Art deco bent arm rocking chair in Clouds

An Art deco bentwood platform rocking chair C1930. This armchair has a locking cam lever mechanism that allows the chair to be locked in any position of its rock. This chair has recently been in the "Artists inspired by Charleston house" exhibition at the Watts Gallery in Surrey. Upholstered in Clouds fabric designed in 1931 by Duncan Grant, part of the Bloomsbury group at Charleston house ,East Sussex.Seat height 40cm
